1333-1327 B.C. Buried in a small tomb in the Valley of the Kings Never fought or particapated in battle or war. He lifted the ban on temples in ancient Egypt, and helped restore power, religion, and art to the Egyptions. He was the living image of Amun the god of air.

King Tutankhamen was one of a few pharaohs who's tombs treasures weren't stolen by tomb robbers

In 1922 Howard Carter discovered Tutankhamens tomb, the amount of treasure discovered amazed the world. Researchers also believe that the pharaoh Amnhotep could, very likely be Tutankhamens father. During the beginning of his reign he changed his name to Tutankhamen from Akhenaten, to further distance himself from his father.
