We can hardly believe that it is almost time to welcome parents and students to school. It has been a busy summer - productive, positive, and rejuvenating. We are poised to make 2008 - 2009 an extraordinary school year, and we are so very glad that you'll be a part of it.

On the first day of school, Thursday, August 25th at 7:45 am, students will gather by grade level on the field across the street from the school. Teachers will be there to greet the students and facilitate introductions. Then, Glover's Regiment will lead us across the street where we will muster in front of the flagpole. There we will recite the Pledge of Allegiance before proceeding into the Community Room. Parents are invited to join us inside for opening remarks. Students should sit at grade level tables, and parents should stand around the perimeter of the room. Following the opening remarks, we encourage the adults to enjoy our first Coffee & Conversation of the year. This is an opportunity to introduce yourself and meet other parents.
