Exhibition 2 is just around the corner! The kiddos are hard at work getting ready to show off what they’ve learned this term. We’re so excited to share and proud of all they’ve accomplished!
As part of their Space Unit, the 6th grade has been learning about key forces at play in our Solar System. This lab is meant to answer the question: “Can objects with different masses fall towards Earth at the rate of surface gravity (9.8m/s/s) in an open system?”
School starts tomorrow, August 27th, and we are so excited to welcome the kids to 6th grade, get to know them, and start learning! We will meet on the field for 7:45 and have opening ceremonies, followed by the Kleenex and Confetti welcome back.
Also this week, Parent Engagement Meetings on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 2:30 to 3:30, so please be on the lookout for a sign-up genius to meet with one member of the team to talk about your student’s strengths and interests.
And remember, no school on Friday, the 31st and Monday, the 3rd to celebrate Labor Day!
We are so excited to start this school year, and we’re looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!
6th Grade Team
Apparently the looming MCAS, nor the lingering winter weather, or even notes about the French and Indian War can dampen the spirits of this crew.
When the mood strikes them, it’s best just to let it go……
