E-Cloth Fundraiser
Submitted by admin on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 13:52Dear Parents and Friends,
MCCPS is raising money for the Outdoor Classroom with an online, green fundraiser that everyone can feel good about! We’re selling E-cloth® (new in America), the premier non-chemical cleaning cloth in the U.K., where it earned the 2007 Green Product of the Year from Good Housekeeping. Developed for Swedish hospitals, E-cloth’s advanced fiber technology cleans surfaces mechanically, not chemically using just water to remove dirt, grease and bacteria with microscopic precision. E-cloths are performance guaranteed for 300 machine washes. With E-cloth you save the money spent on paper towels and household cleaners, save the woes they cause the environment, and have a healthier and safer home by eliminating chemical cleaners. Everything is handled online through Green4MySchool.com website, saving paper (no catalogs, no order forms) from landfill, and saving time and work (no money collections, product deliveries) for students and volunteers. E-cloth ships FREE to the customer’s home and MCCPS receives 28% profit ($5 for every E-cloth we sell). To make this fundraiser a success, it is important to get the word out to friends, family and co-workers. Ordering E-cloth is easy:
- Go to http://green4myschool.com/
- click on “Buy for my school”
- select “Marblehead Community Charter Public School” from the drop down menu
- Fill in amount you wish to order and click “add to cart”. You will go to a secure shopping cart to complete the transaction
Free shipping to your home or designated location within 5 business days Everyone who supports the fundraiser will be making a difference for our school, as well as making their home and environment healthier. E-cloth donated 50 E-cloths to MCCPS and the staff and students are thrilled to be using their new safe product!
Thank you, The PTO

The Foundation funded such programs Shakespeare performances, artist residencies, technology upgrades, and classroom libraries. Any donation to the Foundation is tax deductable. Click the button below and it will take you to our donations page on PayPal. If you have a PayPal account, you can sign in and donate through your account. You will be guided through a secure process to donate via MasterCard or Visa.
Amazon.com and OneCause
MCCPS has entered into partnerships with Amazon.com and OneCause and through their respective programs the school will receive an average of 4% of your purchases when you shop online at major brands, such as: Adobe, Amazon, Ann Taylor, Apple, Barnes&Noble, Brookstone, CompUSA, Circuit City, Discovery Store, FAO Schwarz, GAP, Hallmark, Land's End, L.L.Bean, Nordstrom, Staples, Walmart (and many more!).
For the Amazon.com program, all you have to do is start every shopping trip on Amazon through the MCCPS website at www.marbleheadcharter.org. Simply use the Amazon.com search box on this page and the school will receive the benefit from your shopping as soon as the items are shipped.
For the OneCause program, you will need to register on the OneCause website only once. Follow the link below with the yellow school bus to go to the OneCause website. You will find some information on the OneCause program and then will be asked to join - please do so and register with their site. As part of the registration process, you will also be asked to provide information on 2 of your credit cards. While entering this information is optional, we would like to encourage you to do so, as this will be used to track your purchases made in actual retail stores as well, so that the school can benefit from those purchases, too.
Once you are successfully registered, you can start shopping online at the almost 500 merchants that participate in the OneCause program. Simply click on the "Shop Now" tab and you will see a list of featured merchants as well as a complete list of categories on the left side.
On the very top of the screen you will see a confirmation that all your shopping at these merchants will now benefit our school, as long as you do your shopping from the same computer (and browser) that you used to register. If you are shopping online from a different computer, simply go to the OneCause website once and check that on the top of the screen it says: ole1 If you don't see that message, simply log in with the username and password that you created the first time and then proceed to do your shopping.
Both programs are not limited to just parents or immediate stakeholders - please spread the word to your friends and extended family. It doesn't cost them anything, but greatly helps the school pay the bills.
