                                                                                   Nerve

Nerve, by Jeanne Ryan, is a page-turning thriller packed with action and suspense.  Vee has always been the girl behind the curtain, hidden in the shadows of her best friend Sydney.  However, when she discovers the chance to play a game that will bring her out of her comfort zone, she takes the opportunity that no one would ever expect her to.  Nerve is an online game show of truth or dare, without the truth part.  When signing up as a player, Vee has intentions of completing a few harmless preliminary dares for prizes she can’t resist.  But as each dare grows more challenging, the prizes keep getting better and better.  Vee becomes determined to stay in the game once she is partnered with Ian, who will help her win the grand prize.  Can Ian and Vee conquer the dares they are given and leave the grand prize rounds as winners?

Fans of danger and excitement will find this book captivating as it includes high-risk elements along with a suspenseful plot line.  As the story progresses, readers will find it increasingly difficult to put the novel down each time they turn the page.  Although the book contains serious elements, the exciting plot twists and cliffhangers will keep readers on their feet, eager to see what happens next. People will enjoy following along with Ian and Vee as they grow closer while performing dares that put their lives at risk and require them to remain dedicated to one another.  Not only does this title involve danger and suspense, but it also includes heartwarming factors that will catch the attention of the readers.  I recommend Nerve to all readers, as it contains aspects of risk and devotion and will leave the audience on the edge of their seats.
