Visit from Salem Sound Coastwatch

We were excited to have Salem Sound Coastwatch return to MCCPS this year to teach us about “Keeping Water Clean”. Students visited 6 different stations and learned about the locations of our local watersheds, and types of human activity that cause water to become polluted. They discovered how and where our dirty water is cleaned, saw a demonstration of how groundwater collects and can become polluted, then learned about ways we can prevent pollution.

The students were excited to put this learning into practice as they prepare for Exhibition.

Lastly, we like to say a big “Thank You!” to our parent and staff volunteers who helped to make it a wonderful experience for all!
