Meet Our Board Members

  • Katie is a proud MCCPS parent and  joined the MCCPS Board in 2022 after observing her child thrive at the school.  A lawyer by trade, Katie spent over a decade in federal service, regulating and overseeing Medicaid programs throughout New England and the greater Southeast United States. Katie lives in Swampscott with her family and is active in local vocal ensembles.

  • Lindsay is a parent of a MCCPS 6th grader who walks to school in Marblehead.  She is a career middle school teacher in both public and private settings, and has long been passionate about charter schools and progressive public education. Outside of the classroom, she was the director of college success at College Track and The Harlem Children’s Zone serving intentionally under-resourced students and their families.   She is deeply passionate about and committed to bolstering diversity, equity and inclusion programs in all of our schools.  She holds a BA in Civil Rights from Brown University, a Masters in Education from Tufts and did her teacher training program at Shady Hill School in Cambridge.  She is also on the executive board of the Marblehead Racial Justice team leading youth engagement.    She loves being outside, listening to live music and hanging with her 3 daughters (and their dad) as they prepare to save the planet.

  • Ian is a biomedical research scientist. He has a Ph.D in molecular and cellular biology and has over 25 years academic and industrial biomedical research experience. He has worked in the UK, Bay Area and Cambridge, MA. Most recently Ian has worked with Human Resources and the Office of the President at the Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research to develop strategies to support and develop its innovation and global talent pipeline. Ian has a long standing interest in strengthening science and engineering curricula in schools, in particular around encouraging greater gender and diversity representation in biology and chemistry.  He is the parent of two MCCPS alumni students and has been a Marblehead resident for 18 years.
